In 2021, I moved from Choices to Pixelberry's latest project, StoryLoom. StoryLoom is a platform where writers, artists, and other creatives can easily access tools and resources to create their own video games. With a user friendly drag-and-drop manuscript interface, a robust library of art and music, and a customizable character creator, we're giving users a space to develop, refine, and share their work.

In 2021, I was brought onto the team to write some internal content for our launch slate. I was the lead writer for Hope to Die, and also served as creative lead on Tell Me a Tale and Star Crossed.

Given that we started with a fairly small team, I had the chance to wear a lot of hats. On top of writing, I gathered references and designs for our base art library of 150+ individual characters, co-organized our sound and music library, and led the creation of educational and tutorial materials for users.

I now manage our editorial team, whose responsibilities include content review and user engagement planning, but also I do a lot of work with UX & feature design (as well as occasional bug-squashing).

StoryLoom is currently in open beta and can be accessed by creating a free account here.
