Adapting is a 2-player board game about how relationships change over time and circumstance. You and your partner play two animals navigating a series of different ecosystems together, and making changes to survive the demands of each new environment. The goal is to find a place to make your nest together–but life may try to drive you apart and send you separate ways.

This is my first board game, which I designed, prototyped, and tested over the course of half a year. It was inspired by and is dedicated to my husband, who watched this game develop over the months, contributed a lot of good ideas, and helped me understand what love looks like over time.
