River Hawk Hotel

2025-???
Picture
River Hawk Hotel is a text-based horror game that I started working on in the summer of 2025. I published a short prequel to the project that fall, developed using Twine. There is currently no set release date planned for the full game, but I hope to release it sometime in 2026.

The story sees you wake up in a car near the fictional town of Shady Pines in Southern Oregon. You have no memory of who you are or how you got there; your only clue is a note telling you to go to the River Hawk Hotel. You gradually learn more about Shady Pines' dark secrets, including the mystery of a missing teenage girl, and the root of your amnesia.

The prequel is set a few months before the events of the main game. It follows a group of teenagers from Shady Pines whose camping trip is disrupted by disturbing events. You can play it for free in your browser here.
