Selene
Offensive Magenta Games, April 2016

Selene is a short first-person walking simulator set in an ethereal abandoned city. The player can explore the ruins to learn about its history.
This was a collaboration between Scott, Nick, and I for a game design class in our program. Our prompt was to create an interactive environment based on a city in Italo Calvino's novel Invisible Cities; however, to make the game more our own, I wrote a series of poems in the style of Calvino which served as the basis of our design instead. In addition to writing and design, I worked on concept art, in-game art, 3D modelling, programming, and special effects. Press: Interview with Indie Obscura Available here |
